Working principle

The helical ribbon mixer operates on the principle of forced convective and diffusive mixing. As the dual ribbons rotate, they generate opposing material flows. This creates intense, three-dimensional movement within the vessel—material is simultaneously moved axially throughout the trough and radially sheared and folded. This combination of bulk convection and controlled diffusion ensures that all ingredients are rapidly and homogeneously blended into a uniform product.
