Product Description
The ploughshare mixer is a high-efficiency powder mixing equipment
with a horizontal cylindrical structure. It is equipped with
ploughshare-shaped stirring components inside and flying knives on
both sides of the cylinder. Under the strong shearing, convection
and diffusion effects, it can quickly and evenly mix materials of
different particle sizes and densities. It is widely used in powder
material mixing operations in industries such as chemical
engineering, food, medicine and building materials.
Working Principle
When the ploughshare mixer is in operation, the ploughshares rotate
at high speed, throwing the materials up and creating vortices,
which promotes convective movement of the materials. At the same
time, the high-speed rotation of the flying knives on both sides of
the cylinder shears and refines the material particles, enhancing
the diffusion effect among the materials. Under the combined action
of the ploughshares and the flying knives, materials of different
particle sizes and densities are uniformly mixed through intense
shearing, convection and diffusion.
