The double-cone mixer is a device that achieves efficient mixing by
virtue of its double-cone cylinder structure. During operation, the
cylinder rotates around a horizontal axis, driving the materials to
flip up and down and circulate in both directions. Under the
influence of gravity, inertial force, etc., the materials complete
diffusion and shearing, quickly reaching a highly uniform mixed
state. It has a simple structure and is easy to maintain. It is
suitable for powder and granular materials in multiple industries
such as chemical engineering, food, and medicine. The unloading is
thorough with little residue, and it can effectively avoid

Working principle
The double-cone mixer achieves mixing through a unique double-cone
structure. During operation, the double-cone cylinder rotates
around a horizontal axis. The frictional force between the inner
wall of the cylinder and the material drives the material upward.
After reaching a certain height, it falls under the action of
gravity. Meanwhile, the double-cone structure causes bidirectional
convection of the materials. Some of the materials flow from one
end to the other, forming convective mixing. In addition, the
material particles are subjected to the combined action of gravity,
friction and inertial force, interpenetrating and diffusing with
each other. The shear force generated between the materials and
between the materials and the cylinder wall breaks the material
lumps, achieving uniform mixing of the materials. It can be widely
applied in the chemical, food, pharmaceutical and other industries.
